Our Story
At Tennessee Valley Vision Care, we believe in providing the highest quality eye care while maintaining the warmth and community values of a small town. Dr. Jared Cooper grew up on a farm in rural Idaho, where he learned the importance of hard work, integrity, and service. His passion for helping others led him to Idaho State University, where he earned a BS in Microbiology with a Medical Technology emphasis in 2004. This foundation in science and health care inspired him to pursue a Doctorate of Optometry, which he completed at Southern College of Optometry in 2009.
After years of serving patients, Dr. Cooper felt a calling to return to his rural roots, this time in Tennessee, where the people and culture reminded him of home. He opened Tennessee Valley Vision Care in Lexington to bring state-of-the-art eye care to the local community, offering advanced exams and treatments that prioritize both precision and comfort.
